father's day 2010

This year was our turn to spend fathers day at my parents house. We were able to get some family pictures done as well as have a great day. On the spur of the moment, Dad came up with the idea to drive to the beach at 3pm...so we all piled in the van, all seven of us. on the way there, we ran through a terrible thunder storm, but once we got to the beach, it was like it had never stormed there at all. here are some pics of our time there.

coupon obsessed

**Day 1 of saving money with coupon adventures by Ashlee**
Ok so I am officially obsessed with couponing. Today I spent about an hour or so organizing all my coupons and looking through the weekly adds to see who had the best deals and where to use the coupons. Then i set out on the adventure, and let me tell you, it was so much fun saving money(not so much fun trying to find all the items i wanted to buy though). And i was able to save all this money by coupons as wel as waiting for things to go on sale and buy 1 get 1 free items. But anywho~ I ended up getting to much stuff for really a small amount of money. I would have taken a picture of everything i bought but i had a lot of frozen stuff and it was already melting and making a mess so no can do on the picture. But i can tell you the grand totals for all my shopping today. Its just awesome to look at and makes me to excited. Now we shouldn't need groceries or house goods for a while, other than fruit that you cant keep for too long anyways. but here it goes:

vacation to missouri

well this last week, we went on a family trip to missouri and kansas to visit marcs side of the family. addie got to see snow for the first time and we played in ti some. although, there wasnt much to visit in kansas. our big excitement for one of the days was Walmart. we had a great time with family though. it was great to see and hang out with everyone.

through the years and on to somethign new in 2010

well, it has been a long time since i had my last blog...wow, august, doesnt seem that long ago. well i have updated my blog not thanks to marcs cousin Lori. not it is all pretty againa nd now i can start blogging.

times have been rough the last two years with marc losing his job then starting a new one. pay in finally coming along better but getting paid once a month is really tough. if not for credit cards, debt would keep piling up. luckily God has made it all possible for us. although i totally dont know how, we hav emanaged to pay all bills each month, we have had to go on a tight budget but you gotta do what ya gotta do.
as time goes by i sit and wonder how things will be this year? God never gives us mor ethan we can handle but when something is not going right, we wonder, "can we really handle this?" well off i go for now...i will be blogging about our kansas missouri trip later

addie's first time in the snow

last week we went on a trip to visit Marc's family in Missouri and Kansas. It was Addie's first time seeing snow. she wanted to play in it more often but she had a cold and so we could only go out to take pictures. you know me, have to take tons of pictures of everything. im a picture freak!!! all is his family was king enough to let us stay in their homes. i wish we could have stayed longer but work wouldn't let us stay too long. here are some pictures from our trip:
